The 1979 Osograms Set have shown the other sets the way to do it. At their 40th graduation ceremony, held in Osogbo, they donated a fully-equipped computer room and paid off the exam fees of some SS3 students. The event was attended by senior government officials, including the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly.
Governor of Osun Gboyega Oyetola is now an alumnus of Osogbo Grammar School, having received an honorary membership from the alumni association of the school at a ceremony in Osogbo.
Osograms alumnus, Mr. Sola Atanda Oladepo, has been appointed the Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation in Osun State.
We are sad to announce that Osograms alumnus, Prince Babatunde Solomon Oyegoke, an engineer from the 1961 set, passed away on July 30th, 2020, in Osogbo, Nigeria. Aged 79, Prince Oyegoke played very important and philanthropic role in the alumni association of Osogbo Grammar school for many years.
