Osogbo Grammar School Old Students Association remembers our late former Secretary, Lagos Branch, Oloyede Oyegoke, who passed on December 17, 2012 at the age of 51.
Gudu, as known to friends, was the director of budget, Lagos State Government before he died in New Jersey, United States, after an illness. He was of the 1978 set as the Chapel Prefect and was a Scout's Master.
Oloyede Oyegoke, a native of Osogbo, graduated in economics at the University of Ilorin, and had played various roles in the development of Osogbo Grammar School alumni. A rallying point for meetings, and among seniors and juniors, the late Oyegoke, embraced the association and its people.
At the sixth year of his passing, the Old Student remembers him for his work and sends greetings to friends and family - especially his brothers who were also old students, including active alumni, Tunde Oyegoke and Tubosun Oyegoke.
Oloyede is missed by many and will always be remembered for his love for Osogbo Grammar School.
