Osogbo Grammar School Old Students Association, 1981 Set, held the first career seminar for current students of Osogbo Grammar School on November 16, 2017, at the school premises. As part of its annual convention starting on December 16, the alumni body also donated boxes of chalks to the school during the event.

Alumni experts advised the students on how to make career choices and work towards achieving the goal. Among the career options explored are nursing, law, engineering and education.

At the event were a lawyer, Niyi Fatai Oladiti; a civil servant Fatai Adegboyega; a nurse, Agnes Iyabo (Akande) Winjobi; a teacher/principal, Tajudeen Bamigbade; and a university don, Tola Winjobi, who is the president of the association.

The alumni used the occasion to donate ten boxes of chalks to the school as a gesture of goodwill.
