An eminent old student of  Osogbo Grammar School, Retired Group Captain Yakubu Olayiwola Ajisefini, has passed on. He died on May 30, 2017, and was buried at his home town, Ikirun, Osun State, on July 17, 2017.

 The late Ajisefini had for many years played an active role in the school alumni, particularly in Lagos, as a close confidant of the Old Students Leader, Retired Colonel S. Adejoro.

The Group Captain is missed by the association for his tutelage, mentoring and love for Osogbo Grammar School.
